David A. Dahl

David is an Executive Vice President and Whittier Trust Company's Chief Operating Officer. In addition to managing client portfolios, David oversees The Whittier Trust Company's taxable and tax-exempt fixed income investments and Tax Aware equity strategies.

 

Prior to joining The Whittier Trust Company in 1994, David managed fixed income and equity portfolios for individual, foundation, Taft Hartley and municipal clients for Merus Capital Management. Previously, David managed institutional fixed income portfolios and conducted research for Duff & Phelps.

 

David earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant.

 

David is a past President of the Los Angeles Society of Investment Analysts, and is a member of USC's Associates and Cardinal and Gold.
