Carie is Senior Vice President and Controller of Whittier Trust, where she manages the Corporate Accounting department.
Carie has more than 30 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining Whittier in 2010, Carie served as Vice President and Manager of Financial Planning and Reporting/Analysis for Union Bank’s Wealth Management Division and as the CFO and Financial and Operations Principal at Union Bank Investment Services, Inc.
Prior to that, she held Assistant Controller and Assistant Treasurer positions at Mercantile National Bank. Carie began her career at Arthur Andersen’s Los Angeles office.
Carie graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in German. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Carie currently serves as the Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair on the board of directors for Families Forward Learning Center, a nonprofit in Pasadena. She has served on the Advisory Committee and as a Merit Badge counselor for San Marino Boy Scout Troop 355 and was an active member of Pasadena KidSpace Museum’s Circle of Friends and Pasadena Junior League.
