Whittier Trust recently brought together its Client Advisory teams at The Lodge at Torrey Pines for its 2026 Client Advisory Offsite, centered on the theme, “The Trusted Advisor: Seeing the Whole Picture. Coordinating the Response.” Throughout the week, advisors engaged in collaborative discussions and educational sessions spanning trust services, investment strategy, real estate, philanthropy, cybersecurity, and family continuity. The gathering reinforced a fundamental belief at Whittier Trust: being a trusted advisor means understanding the full picture of a family’s needs and bringing together the right expertise when it matters most. Beyond professional development, the offsite strengthened the relationships and collaborative culture that define Whittier Trust’s approach to serving families across generations. As guest speaker Jake Burack, Founder of WestSide InfoSec, observed, “This one felt completely different. The culture, the team, the collaboration, the demeanor. All of it was different, in a really positive way.”
