Kristen D. Matteoni is Vice President, Associate Counsel at Whittier Trust. She is responsible for assisting in the legal affairs of the Trust Company, including advising on trust, fiduciary, corporate, regulatory, and business matters.
Kristen has nearly a decade of experience in trust and estate law. Prior to joining Whittier Trust, she was an estate planning attorney with Snell & Wilmer, LLP in their Private Client Services department, where she advised high-net-worth individuals on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession, and non-profit organizations. Before that, Kristen practiced at Maupin Cox & LeGoy, focusing on estate planning and estate and trust administration.
Kristen obtained her Bachelor of Arts, International Affairs, magna cum laude, from Wagner College and her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She serves on the Board of the Probate and Trust Section of the Nevada State Bar, is a member of the Committee for the Nevada Fiduciary Association, and is on the Changemakers Committee of the Children’s Cabinet.
