Eric Derrington is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Whittier Trust Company. Eric has been with Whittier Trust Company since 2006. In addition to being a member of the Investment Committee, Eric is responsible for analyzing companies in the financial sector for Whittier Trust Company’s large cap and small cap core equity strategies. Eric heads the alternatives asset platform for Whittier Trust Company, which encompasses private equity, private debt, opportunistic investments, and various hedge fund strategies. Eric began his career as an investment and wealth management consultant with Asset Strategies Group. He worked with high net worth individuals, foundations, and qualified plan sponsors in the development of strategic asset allocations and the evaluating of investment managers.
Eric earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Hillsdale College. Eric is a CFA® charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Los Angeles.
