Carter is an Officer, Client Advisor at Whittier Trust’s West Los Angeles office. He provides strategic advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their trusted business professionals. Carter works to find unique solutions to client estate planning and investment management needs. Carter joined the Whittier team in 2020.

Carter grew up in Santa Barbara, CA, before moving to Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A. in International Business and Finance. While at USC, he was a Dean’s List Honors graduate, a member of the Operations Management Club and USC Global Leadership Club, and an alumnus of Sigma Chi Fraternity. 

Carter is currently pursuing his CTFA Certification. In his free time, you will find him playing ice hockey or golf in and around Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Carter is a member of the Santa Barbara Polo Club, the Pacific Council on International Policy, and the Board of  Directors for Woodcraft Rangers, one of the oldest and largest non-profit providers of afterschool programs in Los Angeles County.
