Charlie Normandin is an Assistant Vice President, Client Advisor in Whittier Trust’s San Francisco office. His keen attention to detail allows him to present his clients with optimal solutions to a wide array of challenges. Charlie’s primary focus is providing tailored family office services and fiduciary and financial planning for high-net-worth families and individuals.
Prior to joining Whittier in 2020, Charlie worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at Windes, Inc. in Long Beach, CA. He specialized in Trust & Estate tax services and was a key advisor for Not-for-Profit organizations, assisting them with annual reporting and board meetings. Charlie’s customized approach to providing the best in client service began in high school behind the counter at the landmark Balboa Candy shop on Balboa Island, CA, where he learned the art of curating customers’ candy preferences from a vast inventory of sweets.
Charlie received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Professional Accounting Certificate from California State University, Chico. He earned his Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation in 2022.
He is a San Francisco Estate Planning Council member and an advocate for youth organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club. Outside of the office, Charlie enjoys golfing, boxing, and cooking, and is always curious to know your favorite candy.
