Tom Frank is an Executive Vice President, Northern California Regional Manager in Whittier Trust’s San Francisco office. He is responsible for managing complex client relationships, including investments, planning and family dynamics and fiduciary services, as well as all operations, revenues, staff and other elements related to the Northern California region.
Tom brings thirty years of experience in comprehensive family office services including investment consulting, banking, trust and fiduciary, family education and financial administration for high net worth clients. His most recent position was Director, Relationship Management with Abbot Downing (formerly Wells Fargo Family Wealth) in San Francisco. Tom’s prior experience includes various positions at Bessemer Trust including Managing Director/Head Of Client Account Administration, Managing Director/Senior Resident Officer/West Coast Head, Senior Vice President and Vice President. Previous employers include DLJ Asset Management and US Trust.
Tom earned his JD from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional and a member of the California Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. Tom is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).
Tom is a trustee of De Marillac Academy, a school in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district serving the needs of at-risk children, a Director of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council and was a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
