Jerad Beltz

Jerad Beltz is the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Whittier Trust. He handles a wide variety of legal affairs for Whittier Trust and its affiliates, including fiduciary, governance, regulatory, business, and corporate matters.

Jerad brings twenty years of legal experience to Whittier Trust. Most recently, he was a Partner at Saul Ewing LLP, where he advised closely held businesses and high-net-worth families on business succession, estate planning, tax strategies, and trust administration, with a focus on the preservation and responsible management of generational wealth. In addition, Jerad served as outside general counsel for several public charities and private foundations, providing guidance on nonprofit governance, charitable gifting policies, major gifts, and business matters.

Jerad is currently on the faculty of the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California.

Jerad obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and his Juris Doctor from USC Gould Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He is a member of both the California State Bar and the Texas State Bar.
